Repeatedly the scientists at the Johannes Kepler University Linz, department Robotics, had to face claims of the industry for “easy but intelligent” devices. Actually a new species of robots was considered, which would designed for the direct and instant interaction with human operators. They were supposed to be touch-sensitive, suitable for changing tasks, work interactively and on top of all should be easy to operate. Well, this is reality now!

Inventing such a new robot generation lead into founding a spin-off, the FerRobotics Compliant Robot Technology GmbH. Founders and co-directors are DI Dr. Ronald Naderer,MBA and DI Dr. Paolo Ferrara.
