The Active Contact Flange in use at Volkswagen: Automated car body sanding in production line in order to make the surface ready for finishing. Use of the Active Contact Flange leads to excellent and reproducible surface quality while automatically adjusting to position tolerances. The first stage of expansion is being commissioned at the end of 2011 by our project partner SPS Technik.
