Automated testing of Grinding Wheels
This Application shows the ACF 120-05 used for quality assurance and product testing. The most important aspect of this application are reproducible test parameters regarding force applied to the tool. This allows a neutral comparison of tested grinding wheels for the customer. Previous tests were carried out manually and lead to fluctuating results. The manual tester gets tired, has a different constitution every day and a natually limited radius of action. Automated Tests without the Active Contact Flange were not reproducible either: Especially making contact and holding a defined force caused the customer huge trouble. With the Active Contact Flange the application was up and running after half a day of integration optimizing parameters.
